This Comprehensive Plan is an update to the existing Kendall County Land Resource Management Plan. Building on the County’s past plans and ongoing work, this new plan will serve as a long-term vision and policy guide to achieve County goals, objectives, policies, and programs over the next 10-15 years.
The updated Comprehensive Plan will address key topics including:
- Land Use
- Transportation
- Sustainability
- Growth Management
- Implementation
Public input is essential to the success of this plan. We will engage the public at every stage of the project to ensure that plan recommendations reflect Kendall County’s vision and values.

Comprehensive Land Plan and Ordinance Committee
The Comprehensive Land Plan and Ordinance Committee (“the Committee”) is comprised of individuals who can provide insights and expertise representing various community perspectives.
