On May 14, the Kendall County Committee of the Whole reviewed the updated Draft Comprehensive Plan dated May 13. Discussion focused on recommendations from the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee, including clarifying the transportation corridor definition and identifying additional economic development opportunities along Route 126 and Ridge Road.
Following discussion, the Committee recommended moving the plan forward for adoption consideration by the County Board at its May 19 meeting.
The County Board meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the County Board Room on the second floor of the Kendall County Office Building, located at 504 S. Main Street in Yorkville. Momentum continues as Kendall County moves closer to adopting its new Comprehensive Plan!
