On April 22, the Regional Planning Commission hosted a public hearing on the Draft Comprehensive Plan, where Commissioners expressed their appreciation to County residents for sharing their perspectives and to community partners who helped facilitate workshops throughout the process.
Incorporating additional input from Yorkville and the Conservation Foundation, the Commission unanimously recommended that the County Board adopt the Plan.
The Draft Plan was also presented to the Kendall County Zoning Board of Appeals during its April 27 meeting for further review.
What’s Next?
Looking ahead, the Plan will move next to the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee on May 11, followed by the County Board Committee of the Whole on May 14.
